Hole Family's Gift to Alberta Libraries
| The Hole family of St. Albert, owners of Hole’s Greenhouses and Gardens, have made a generous donation to the library in honour of their parents, Ted and Lois Hole. Seventeen gardening books written by Alberta’s Lieutenant Governor, Her Honour Lois Hole, have been received for the library’s collection, and new titles will be donated as soon as they are published. A similar donation has been made by the Hole family to each public library and public library branch in Alberta, over 5400 books in total. Adopt-a-book from the bestseller list which is distributed approximately three times a year, or adopt any book in the Libary written by your favourite authors. Adopt-a-book costs only $25 each. When you adopt-a-book from the best seller list you have the first opportunity to read the book for an extended reading period of 4 weeks. A donation plate is placed inside the book acknowledging your sponsorship and you are issued a charitable tax receipt.
