The Fort McMurray Public Library Volunteer Program is designed to enhance and enrich existing Library services and to provide community members with the opportunity to become involved in the Library.

Special Events Volunteers
The Library recruits volunteers for the following special events and annual programs.  Check our web site regularly for more information about volunteering for these special events.

• Book Swap - September
• Frosty Frolics - November

The Public Library uses regular volunteers to assist with daily library duties. A regular volunteer contributes time up to 4 hours/week. Not all regular volunteer positions require that much time, some are only a few hours every two weeks or even one hour per week.
