responsible for materials until they are checked in by library staff.

Library Lego Creations (2:00PM)
Bring the family to the library for an afternoon of thought, construction and
demolition! Library Lego Creations will take place in the children's area on the main
floor of the library. Lego sets will be available to library users who wish to
construct lego buildings and towns, or anything else that comes to mind.
A weekly contest will be held for the most creative design and the winning
piece will be displayed in the library for the week, and have the opportunity to
be featured as the Lego artist of the month in the library newsletter on the
webpage, and the library's facebook page.

Service Canada Helping Youth Employment (2:30PM - 3:30PM)
Library hosts interactive presentation to get youth employed and informed
Service Canada Centres for
Youth will be leading an interactive presentation on topics varying from its
services through resumes, cover letters, interviews and everything else youth
needs to know to land a job. There will also be brief coverage of health and
safety, human rights and how to get a student loan or grant to pay for post
secondary education.

TAB Meeting (6:30PM - 8:00PM)
Fort McMurray Public Library's own teen advisory board. Meetings will take place every second Friday of the month at 6:30pm on the second floor of the library in the YA section. Teens can join TAB at anytime but must be between the ages of 13 and 18.

Gaming Club allows youth between the ages of 13 and 18 to come to the library and enjoy board games and provided snacks with friends. Gaming Club is unstructured meaning there's no sign up, no committment and no fee! Board games are set out on the study tables in the young adult section of the library on the second floor. Teens are encouraged to bring along their own handheld devices to share with their peers.

Book Babies (11:00AM - 12:00PM)
Babies love story time too! Get to know
fun and interactive songs and finger plays to develop a love of books
for your new baby. This program also supports networking for moms, dads
and other caregivers to share experience and advice. The library is closed on all statutory holidays; programs will not run on closure dates. WonderPLAY
occurs every second week. Additional learning activites are introduced
providing the opportunity for caregivers to learn new fun and
interactive ways to promote development. NOTE: Book Babies will start at 10:30am starting Friday, September 3, 2010
