Library Lego Creations (2:00PM)
Bring the family to the library for an afternoon of thought, construction and
demolition! Library Lego Creations will take place in the children's area on the main
floor of the library. Lego sets will be available to library users who wish to
construct lego buildings and towns, or anything else that comes to mind.
A weekly contest will be held for the most creative design and the winning
piece will be displayed in the library for the week, and have the opportunity to
be featured as the Lego artist of the month in the library newsletter on the
webpage, and the library's facebook page. Please NOTE: this program will take place from 1:30 to 3:30 starting in October

Heritage Day (All Day)
If you wish to return materials, please drop them in the exterior book
drop located at the far right of the building, or return them through
the wall slots located in the main concourse. Patrons remain
responsible for materials until they are checked in by library staff.
You may also renew materials online at www.fmpl.ca and return them
after the holiday.

Get back into the swing of school with 3 short days of crafts at the library Monday, August 23 - Scrapbook Board Tuesday, August 24 - Origami Box and Fortune Teller Wednesday, August 25 - Speed Eraser and Homemade Sidewalk Chalk Each craft is limited to 30 children on a first come, first serve basis. There is no fee charged, and parental supervision is not required. Children must be between the ages of 6 and 12 to participate. Proof of age may be required in the form of an Alberta Health Care card.
